| Your making the number bigger in the VE table section that matches places where the BLM is higher than 128 in your logging. This is making your pulse-width longer, which means more fuel. |

So if I modify the MAF tables, increasing the number makes the ECM think there is more air coming in or less?
Now I see why everybody swaps to the '730 ECM and SD! _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

They swap because that Maf mazes at 255g/sec. A 350 with bolt ons pretty much hits that wall. After that you're guessing on fueling. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

So tuning with VE tables is no easier than with MAF tables? _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

VE is easier. Less tables really.
MAF you're doing the same thing. Just the sensor is a limiting factor. Plus, when they die, they're more expensive.
Anyone figure out how to put a late model GM MAF in a turdgen? _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |
