Will this one resist breakage as good as a 9-bolt?

Brand new Auburn Pro, new Richmond 3.73s, TA girdle, LS1 rear so it has the LS1 brakes like my current rear end. He threw in the aluminum driveshaft, torque arm and swaybar as well.

I picked it up from a guy who installed a 9 inch in his buddy's 408ci LSx car. Brand new motor, 550RWHP, and he didn't want to run the 10-bolt on the track so pulled the rear right after dumping a bundle of money on it. I got a good deal. Smile

So uh, you keeping the driveshaft? Razz

Also, congratulations on your purchase of another weak-ass Chevrolet-engineered product. Wink

Haha, Yes, I am keeping my new brakes, but my old brakes will be up for sale attached to my old diff... Razz They are LS1 as well. Aaron, drive shaft is definitely mine. Unless you want to trade for your 9-bolt. Laughing

I did fit my new rear end in the back of my Impreza sedan, I was very impressed. It barely fit. Cool

This guy had a very drool-worthy garage. He had his friend's 408ci T/A in there finishing up the 9-inch install, he had his own fully built 8,000 mile 2002 1LE (tubular everything, every suspension upgrade you could imagine, coilovers, 9 inch, built 4l60, headers, cammed LS1). He also owns an original SVT Cobra with a 15,000 dollar 347 and fully built suspension and race interior, he had a stock 06 GTO driver and a modded Z06 in the garage too, a Focus SVT for another daily driver, and an Aprilia Tuono 1000R next to the Corvette. All of those cars were his except the Trans Am.
