Was out in the shop tonight, decided to cut my springs. Think this will be low enough? Not quite even either.. Razz

Hehe! Brought home a coil spring compressor from work tonight. Was going to take the a-arms off my truck project, so i can take them to work and clean them/install balljoints-bushings. Anyway, got to thinkin, hey i got new springs coming, why am I goin to try and save these? And out came the torch! Very Happy Going to drop the front 4" and back 6" So new parts are coming!

looks like you had cheezy help count coils. Wink

that would be very interesting to drive, the spring frequency is going to be nutty with them cut that much.

Hey thats why I cut em different lengths, knew there was a reason. Since I dont have any shocks yet they'll both bounce at a different frequency.. thus they wont amplify each other. Guess I'm subconsciously brilliant! So... this bb mower projects coming together pretty fast.......

You're an animal Ricky.

Very Happy

I don't think anyone is going to accuse you of wasting time on that one.

Lessee if I can whore my own thread here. Very Happy Just in case someone thinks I'm slackin again...

Set front on ground.. real low considering no sheetmetal or 454 in there yet.

Cut frame for c-notch. Sissy men use sawzall's real guys get the torch!

Bolted in, still have a couple holes to drill and the shock mount to relocate. But I need to remove the tire to do it.. and it got late..

After I get both c-notches in, then I'll move the rearend to the top side of the leaf springs. This will lower the rear 6".

Btw.. I also had to change my stupid starter tonight.. what a waste of time! Evil or Very Mad
