Hope you're getting new tires. 235 on a 7" rim sounds a little fishy to me. He might just be wrong though, since he's got them listed as '95 Camaro rims, I don't think he's to good with numbers. Laughing

Those look just like the ones I sold to Aaron, but I painted them black to cover up the faded red Very Happy Those would look real good if you were able to polish them to a mirror finish, alot of work, but doable Cool

Whats fishy bout the size? I've got 215s on the front and 275's on the rear of the 2nd gen, both on 7" rims.

Do you get a lot of sidewall movement with a 275, Brandon?

I always see guys try and shove a wider tire on, and it just ends up squishy and bulging out.

A 275 is about right for an 8" wheel. On my 10" wheels they're a bit small. It is large for 7" but works fine.

If you paint them, I suggest you leave the machined surface exposed on the lip and the outer edges of the spokes, it looks much nicer than one solid color.

Here's how I did the ones Aaron now has...

After they were stripped, I used a self-etching primer, then a couple of coats of caliper paint (Duplicolor, I think I used), followed by a clear coat.

Huh??? The wheel must not be centered well. I have a lowered car with 275/40 on 17x9 rims and I have tons of extra room to the inside. In fact, I wish I had 18x10 wheels in the back. Mine look skinny from a rear view.

How much are you lowered? I had 245's on 16x8 IROC rims and they fit fine lowered about two inches off the base-model.

Psh, too low Laughing . I've yet to run into any real problems at my 3" lower than stock ride height. I was running 285's all around as well.
