|
|
Ok so last weekend I drove down to Aumsville. Which is 9mi. se. of Salem. And bought my new intake manafold and carb. About an hour and a half trip each way, but well worth it. I got a brand new Eddlbrock high rise intake manafold $80, and a freashly rebuilt holly 600cfm. elec. choke carb $60, for a total of $140. Man oh man they are freakin sweet. The plan is to get the new distributor in 2weeks and put them all on that weekend. I can't wait, my car's getting it's ballz back. _________________

Sweet dude!
Chevymad, when swapping CCC for Old Skool Carb, does one have to fiddle with fuel lines/fuel pump issues? _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

| Just plug and go with the fuel lines. You have a mechanical pump correct? |

Some CCC cars have a mechanical fuel pump AND an electric in the tank. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

I think just 87 had both. I believe it was to fix a vapor lock problem.
Jenn's 87 was that way, really a nice fuel system for a carbed car. |

Hirise intake + crossfire hood =
Make sure you have a countersunk or low profile air filter or you will not be happy. Looks good though!

Is that carb a spread bore? (And if anyone would like to explain how a holley works without a jet plate, that would be cool). Looks just like my intake but I have the air-gap version. Great score man! _________________ E30

My airgap with a DP and air cleaner clears. looks like he has just the regular Edelbrock performer. He should be fine. _________________

The stamped numbers on the right are what you're looking for. |
