Finally, after 3.5 years from the fire , The 87Z is plated, insured and back on the road! Runs great, except for this little starter issue.

New carpet, custom door panels, seat covers in the front, new headliner, redone visors.

Runs like a champ! I had no idea how much a missed driving it with the new front end... It's good to have it back!

I'll do some pictures this weekend. Now a RUNNING Crewbie!

TPI 383, 700R4, 2.73 posi, slp stainless headers, edlebrock catback, serious head work.

When I get the starter issue nailed, it'll be... buddah!

I'm with stupid at least step up to some 3.23's. Probably won't hurt the mileage too much, and will give you some more "go" from a dead stop.

Well, I swapped the read end out of a trans am I had that Jess actually took off my hands (sordid details to all of this on my car's myspace) and the choice was to keep the drum rear or swap it to a disc rear... since I was getting rid of the TA it seemed like the thing to do.

I'm assuming it's a 2.73... the TA was a 350, but I'm not sure that it came with a 350... and a 700R4.

In OD, I'm doing 1500 rpm or so at 60 mph.

Since I'm looking to back-half this thing and do some other assorted obscenities, this rear end will work out for now.

No one. Nothing's been changed as yet.

Got someone in mind?
