So i'm having some problems with these door hinge pins. I was able to remove the spring and smash out the pin, but the bushings are sandwiched in the hinge. Should i be taking the whole door off? Confused

I ended up removing the 3 bolts on the upper hinge also to make things easier. I had a friend and a floor jack to support the door while removing the bushings. With those 3 bolts undone, the door is essentially disconnected from the body and will fall off if not supported. Tony has a pic where he used an engine hoist with straps to hold the door up. I forget the part number offhand, but the replacement pin listed in the HELP! section at the parts stores for our cars is too small - I've posted it before

I actually picked up a replacement pin at the parts store and have been meaning to install it. I can give you the part number tomorrow if you need it.

I found the part numbers in an older post of mine. The pin & bushings are in the "HELP!" section, the ones they sell for our cars is part # 38402. That was too small for my car and I had to use the oversized kit, part # 38407.
