I dont think I could have done it to that car. I would have done it to a regular regal, then cloned the outside.

Honestly I don't see the big deal. I see GNX engines put in everything else (including f-bodies) and it's a killer car. I'd love to see them do it on biodiesel though.

What a shame. Like mentioned before, why do that to a GNX? I like the idea just do it to a base model. The duramax is light for a diesel, but light compared to gas engines it aint. That thing would be spooky to go around corners in.

wait until the new duramax comes out... I believe it's a 4.5l engine, no manifolds and it's more or less self contained... quite a bit smaller as well. still rated at 310hp/520tq

I really like that diesels are being made for 1/2 ton trucks. I just wish they had done it several years ago before the 2010 emissions. I won't touch any of these newer diesels until they have been proven over time. The eurea system, particulate filters that clog, high underhood temperatures, and large amount of new content worries me. I'll let somebody else go through the growing pains, even though a 1/2 ton diesel with 300+ Hp really interests me. Besides, let's get real... those are going to be expensive trucks!!! I'll have plenty of time to watch until the used trucks are in my price range.

I'll just be happy with my old 7.3L Powerstroke. A Banks Powerpack will give it some real life if I need anything more.
