So recently my breaks have started squeaking and for a while when i break the car shudders. So i went and bought new brake pads and rotors and i was lookin through TGO and read the rotor sticky and i was wondering if it's really necessary to go through all the hassle of putting new bearings and everything else in?
I was hoping to take a couple hours this weekend and just get it done w/ but now it's looking like it's gonna take more time and money |

| What the article on TGO say? I'd just check for bearing slop and at least repack them if not replace. Takes a few minutes per race to pound out. Or at you talking replacing rotors? Then, yeah, I'd slap some new bearings in there. |

| I'm w/ Ian. With new rotors it'd probably be a good idea to spend the 15 dollars or so for new inner and outer bearings. If you're on a real tight budget though, as long as the old bearings look OK, you can probably swap them over with no problems. |
