Well figured I haven't been near the computer for quite some time so I figured I would drop a line and say whats up.... Been really busy, Last weekend I drove to bremerton and ran at the test and tune...... Ran 10.84 @ 126 MPH so I was stoked on that! Looks like I finally need to change over to a more drag oriented suspension. I still have stock front end and I was pulling 1.52 60's Smile

I also have begun working on my next project that I finally managed to get into town and safely into my garage. My 1967 RS/SS Big Block Camaro is now being disassembled and I am preparing it to have the body rolled outside and I will be using the Rotisserie from work to mount the car on to roll it upside down for a complete bead blasting. Let the fun, games and bloody knuckles begin lol..... I will have pics soon! Car is fairly solid but is going to need a lot of TLC!

Hope everyone is having a blast!

I will try to get some pics up tomorrow so Far I have removed the interior and rearend out from under it including all the springs and shocks. Tonight I just finished removing the entire frontend. and throughout the weekend I will be removing the engine and trans as well as all the wiring. I want to get it blasted and prepped ASAP so that I can start working on the chassis and get it a solid roller again! I think I may do a 2" drop on all four corners and go for a very original but also a protouring look as well. Either way I have a LOT of work ahead of my on this one lol. I have bags and bags of labeled parts lol.

Those are some impressive time slips Zac! Glad to hear you're still alive dude.

Do you think you're gonna be able to make the treck to Cows this year?

It'd be awesome to have you in the car show there!

Well I noticed it looks like I missed the pre-register so does that mean I would not be able to enter in the car show or can you enter the day of?

Im thinking if I got some lighter tires in the front and lighter rims all the way around (those rims I have are HEAVY) and put some 90/10's on it as well as regular et slick I should be able to shave off a whole lot more time and then turn on the bottle! Wink

Nope, you can still show it. Pre-registration just meant you get free t-shirt. You can register the day of the show.

oh cool well I will try like hell to get there!

Here are those pics of what I have been doin so far.

If you look closely you can see that car originally came with factory 4 piston calipers! I was stoked on that!

The factory color of the car was Bolero Red hence the red spray all over. Some dipsh*t sprayed it before I got it and preceded to cover a bunch of stuff in bondo. I have some rust to deal with but nothing I can't manage with new sheetmetal welded in!

Chevy came out with the single piston calipers in 69. They had problems with the dual piston setup sucking air in past the seals. I think all 67-8 cars that were ordered with disc will be dual piston.

I will be restoring the color to what it originally was and that color was Bolero Red W/the white bumblebee stripe that goes over the front nose cone. The interior will be redone in factory black.
