I need a rear end, would like a posi, Just got my car on the road and the rear sounds like an old truck...lots of whinning...anyone have one for sale, it dosn't need to be disk...anyhelp would be appreciated.

I have a posi disk rear end form a 87 iroc Z asking 250.00 Does not include the sway bar. I live in Oak Harbor Wa Whidbey Island has 75,000 miles on it. I will have to open it up to make sure its good to go. LMk if interested

I also have a non posi 3.42 drum rear end for 50.00

I am interested...let me know what it looks like, Oak Harbor would be great get away for the day!!!

Also whats all involved in swapping out drum to disk? I thought I'd read it's a direct bolt on except for the E-brake cable? Any idea whats involved?

would you be willing to meet me in Everett, I'm making a trip there in about 3 weeks?

It should be a direct bolt on. I would be willing to meet at exit 200 which is marysville exit. Comes with everything except the rear sway bar. Put that on my car

Great, I take it my sway bar would work? also how about shocks direct bolt on? if you PM me your phone number I'll give you a call prior to me heading that way. My plan is to head that way on the weekend of the 21st.

the shocks and sway bars will mount right up. all 3rd gen rears are the same that way.

Thank you, now what about the issues with the E-brake cable? will I have fab a mount or something? whats different from the two, length, routing?

One more last question is the posi a 2.73 or the 3.27 either way I'm totally interested.

its a 3.23 rear end Everything looks the same. have part a non posi and the clamps for the ebrake and the routing look the same.

as long as you have the same brakes the cables will be identical. if you are going from drum to disc or something the cables are available from napa/scmhucks/bastards/vato-zone for -+15.00
