well, depending on how many people, room to work, ect... 2-4 days

if we have 4 people, 2 with motor swap experiance, i would say one weekend. it took us 4 days to do Al's engine, but none of us had engine pull experiance.

i thought you were going to have this done by someone. also, the way my summer is there are only a few weekends i would be available. once fall rolls around i will be working a full time job (i hope) AND taking a class or two.. so i will have no time.

I can't remember why.. think it was either parts or $$ accumulation time. I know Mike and I pulled it back out, took the pan off, fixed the dipstick problem and put it back in, in like 2 hours.

Just remember this shouldn't be a come do this for me deal. People will want to "help" you, not just do it. And if anyone does show up to help, i'd expect to at least feed them, and probably have a place to roll out a sleeping bag for the night. Summer is a busy time, so it might be hard to get people together. But you should get everything ready, when you have all the parts see who can come help. Also be sure to have extra $$ on hand. There is always something you didnt realize you needed, or you'll break something and you'll need to make a parts run. Been stuck many times waiting for the parts store to open the next day. Or worse, stuck waiting for parts from Summit because no parts store has what we need.

Otherwise, just save the money had pay to have it done.

I like how you worded the question. "How long would it take for you guys to do all the work?" Laughing Normally people ask how long it would take for them to do the job themselves. Very Happy
