well, depending on how many people, room to work, ect... 2-4 days
if we have 4 people, 2 with motor swap experiance, i would say one weekend. it took us 4 days to do Al's engine, but none of us had engine pull experiance.
i thought you were going to have this done by someone. also, the way my summer is there are only a few weekends i would be available. once fall rolls around i will be working a full time job (i hope) AND taking a class or two.. so i will have no time. |

at the same time, it took paul, brandon, mike, and myself, like 3 months to do the motor in the sled.

| I can't remember why.. think it was either parts or $$ accumulation time. I know Mike and I pulled it back out, took the pan off, fixed the dipstick problem and put it back in, in like 2 hours. |

Just remember this shouldn't be a come do this for me deal. People will want to "help" you, not just do it. And if anyone does show up to help, i'd expect to at least feed them, and probably have a place to roll out a sleeping bag for the night. Summer is a busy time, so it might be hard to get people together. But you should get everything ready, when you have all the parts see who can come help. Also be sure to have extra $$ on hand. There is always something you didnt realize you needed, or you'll break something and you'll need to make a parts run. Been stuck many times waiting for the parts store to open the next day. Or worse, stuck waiting for parts from Summit because no parts store has what we need.
Otherwise, just save the money had pay to have it done. |

I like how you worded the question. "How long would it take for you guys to do all the work?" Normally people ask how long it would take for them to do the job themselves. |

danked, 450 is a screaming deal. if you don't wanna do that i would be willing to help. key word is help. we are not going to do it for you. but if it were my money, i would pay the 450. then if somthing goes mega-wrong it is not my fault _________________ 86' firebird (Junked in 2015). 88' GTA (sold in 2020).

i want my motor back though at least then ill have parts and i plan on putting it on an engine stand in my shed so i can take it apart, fix it, put high performance stuff on it, and when i blow the new one, i can put this one in and rebuild it and keep swapping back and forth _________________ Towed amaro, 2nd engine blown spent $1500 not spending more.
