Interestingly, over 100mph is supposed to be an automatic arrest, and reckless driving now in OR. But, if you are her age, I guess you just get a fine for the basic rule.

WOW...dude if that was any of us, we'd be locked up, ride impounded and all sorts of trouble, I don't think my gray hair would help me on that one!

If she didn't know how fast she was going, then what compelled her to use the hazard lights? Is she saying there was some mechanical problem with the car?


If she is even half way smart she will pay that ticket, a judge can still toss her geriatric butt in the county jail.

If a person couldn't tell they were going 110mph then their judgement is obviously impaired for one reason or another. That lady should have her license revoked. IMO, I think the DMV should retest individuals every year once they hit a certain age.

+1!!!! Im all for retests, I know to many old people that should NOT be on the road
