so i thinkin my tranny is going bad, when i backing outta the garage and go from reverse to drive or vise versa there is like a 2 second pause before it goes into gear after i move the shifter, and when i get going fast it isnt really wanting to shift, so do you guys think its going bad?
anyone know where to get a cheap tranny? |

You may want to try changing the fluid out with fresh sometimes that will help at least limp it along until you get another trans. You can pick up trans for pretty cheap ( I just gave a 700 away) lol _________________

Fluid and filter. Check the fluid that comes out. If the fluid is dark, or silvery-metallic, it's time to start saving up for that T-56 swap.  |

| would a 700R4 from a 1985 Z28 w/305 bolt up to my motor? like is the bolt pattern the same? |

| I had a working v/6 700r4, but I robbed some of the valve body parts out of it. Would be fairly simple to swap parts from your non working one to make it complete again. The other problem though is I'm as far south as you can go in washington. If you want it and can find transport you can have it. I think all the parts are actually there, but needs a new seperator plate(misdrilled) |
