|
|
So i recently picked up a set of 16" iroc-z Rims off the side of the road for 100 bucks. They are Toyo Proxies FZ4's 225/50/16 in the front and 245/50/16's in the rear. I dont know if the tread depth in the fronts are ok because i dont really know how much these low profile tires usually have. But i know the rears are smoked. Looks like some one had fun and burnt the rears to nothing.
But now im looking at getting some new tires and i wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions? The tires are going on my daily driver (2.8MPFI) so no real abuse. |

On my 79 T/a I ran 255 "road huggers" and they were alot of fun, on my 91 I have BFG radial T/a's. The BFGs get much better traction, but sometimes they flusterate me because they get too much traction in dry weather.
Road huggers = Less traction, more fun. |

What?!?!
I'm running mostly dead BFG Comp T/A's. No traction whatsoever. I'll trade you. |

You need to shift with flair. _________________

...Why would you start in second gear? Do that some more and you're going to destroy the trans or rearend. Those are glass in our cars. |
