Okay put the new motor in the car
Figured it had a bad intake gasket and replaced that. Started it up this morning.
Has no power I even brought a set of aftermarket injectrors I beleive there are 19 Lbs and it runs better but no power.
There is collant bubbles in the Antifreeze reservior with the cap on.
ALso white steam comes from the exhaust the Cat. The car was only down for a cople of days and
Did a compression test came up with 135-150 PSI
The white steam and bubbles in the radiator makes me think that I have a bad head gasket.
Give me some ideas. I am really tired of this car. _________________ kurfbird

Cars can put out steam when they first warm up. If it's not cold out and you're fully warmed out and steaming.... and your coolant level is dropping... it's head gasket.
BTW.... what possessed you to go with 19lb/hr injectors? Those come stock on 5.0L motors, and you've got a 3.1L. That's way overkill unless you've got some serious modifications. |

It was fully warmed up. Still bubbles in radiator
Got them off TGO for 50.00 for 8 injectors. I think mine are shot.
I applied compressed air to each cylinder and # 4 cyl made the radiator water level overflow the radiator. So its probably a head gasket. D&*^m _________________ kurfbird
