I raised the exhaust. Here is a preliminary before. After a while the exhaust hung real low at the rear end and then some. And also under the passenger door. I was bored and poor so I cut it all off and ... knowing how to weld and the movement of metal.... redid it.
Here is a before shot. Which isn't hanging as low as it was when Tony saw it two weeks ago.

Looks good paul!
Did your car come with that red Z/28 emblem on the bumper? I'm trying to find red ones for the GFX and bumper for my 85. _________________

I found some decals I'm considering using since I don't have one with the bowtie on the back. Can be used in place of or over top of factory emblems. Scroll down about 1/3.

I'm considering the set at the bottom of the page in reflective white (will pass as light silver) even though I may not use the crossed flags or all 4 of the small bowties. |

Al,
I found the Red Z/28 emblems I"m looking for. Are those just stickers for the factory plastic piece that pegs/glues to the GFX and bumper or are they full on plastic decals? _________________

| Those are vinyl stickers, that's how they can be used on top of the original. |

| I painted the strip and the emblem with the same paint I used on the turnsignals... then covered it with duplicolor clear coat. |
