Finally gettin started on my suspension and some oil leaks this weekend. Got my subframes on and am now ready to do the rest.
I got my hotchkis 1" lowering springs, koni adjustable shocks all 4 corners, hotchkis lca's and hotckis panhard... new kmember, mines tweaked a lil from whoever i bought it from. Chance to do motor mounts too. just hope i dont regret the poly ones.. anyone use these and hows the vibrations?
Kmember comes off though so i can fixed my timing chain/oil pan leak which will be nice. Also get to fix my intake leak so its not spitting oil on my opti anymore resulting in a horrible 227 horse..
Also got the LS1 brakes going on the front with powerslot rotors and hawks pads all around. Anyway maybe ill take some pics of progress and what not and the finished product. Wish me luck. _________________ 1985 Z28. Don't know what im doing stupid 4th gen broke me.

Sounds like some nice upgrades. That should really be a nice handling improvement.
I haven't used poly motor mounts so can't comment on that one.
Have fun!

I had poly motor mounts on my '85. No difference in anything whatsoever. |

That's interesting Paul. On 'other' boards they claim that the poly mounts raise the motor 1.5". That never sounded right to me.

i have a set of energy suspension poly engine mounts on my car and they are exactly like the stock mounts except poly, they don't change engine height in any way. they must be talking about some weird aftermarket mounting system. _________________ 95 vw jetta gl

exactly maybe they are trying to get more oil pan clearance? _________________ 95 vw jetta gl

Got some decent progress ran into a few problems might have her back on the road next weekend though.
Gotta get balls joints pressed in.. well i could get by but i think im just gonna slow down and do everything, gonna head and get all ball joints and bushings replaced.
So far though we got my intake done and shouldnt leak there anymore. And the whole front end is takin apart, kmember dropped, should get my oil pan seal done tomorrow and slowing put my front suspension togehter during the week and finish it up with john on the weekend.
Pretty sure the rear will be a cake walk so im not to worried about that. I'll get some pics up towards the end of the week if i make any progress.
