For those not in the know, I have just purchased someones forgotten project. a 1986 Firebird with a TBI 305 that was in the process of becoming a 87-90 T/A clone. The interior is Grey and is in WAY better shape then I initialy thought when I bought it. This is a hardtop car.
BODY:
Driver side red fender, no dents, very minor rust along the bottom. Drilled for GFX.
87-90 T/A Front nose, and front GFX. all associated support and air dam stuff. And a never hit bumper core. Nose is drilled for license plate bracket. all of this will need to be repainted. it's maroon now.
87-90 T/A Rear bumper, and rear side GFX. also maroon.
87-90 T/A Hood. Maroon this hood has a few minor dents. it's main drawback is the fact that some idiot POP RIVITED a LeBra onto it. it's only a few rivets. RSFREAK has first dibs on this.
140MPH Speedometer Cluster with V8 Tachometer. this is the 86-90 style cluster, so the speedo is for a VSS car. Cluster only has 57K on it and looks great.
the rest of the car is also up for grabs EXCEPT
Power bulge hood.
Passenger Fender.
Windshield.
I'll post up more stuff when i find things I think people will actually want, but if you have any requests let me know. I hope to have this car gone by July. _________________ 86' firebird (Junked in 2015). 88' GTA (sold in 2020).

What shape are the seat belts in? It wouldn't bother me to get the whole set for the couple of pieces (mainly guides and receivers) that I need. _________________ 92 Camaro

| IIRC, Brandon needs one of the same pieces I do, the driver side receiver, maybe both. Though one is longer than the other, either one will work for me. I also need the passenger side guide which covers the hole in the headliner. You'll need to cut a slot in the back side of it to remove it from the belt. |

Do you have the center filler panel that goes between the tail lights? _________________ 2010 Cobalt LT

| I'm also looking for a set of decent sail panel covers for the speakers. If they're plastic, even better, I know they're out there as they are stock to my 92. |

here are the near perfect tail lights, and firebird center.
The grey front receivers function, but the plastics on BOTH sides are broken in this fashion.
Rear seat belts are moldy, they will clean up though.
Guage cluster, 140MPH. ( I am keeping the headlight switch).
T/A Hood, complete with POP RIVETS to hold on the LeBra.
you can see some small dents in the reflections if you look close
Dash pad is crack free, although it could defiantly use a coat of armor all.. and a light dusting.
This car also came with a rear locking deck lid, AND a power hatch pull down. These pieces are quite unusual. I paid $95 for the one I have in the V6 car. of course it included the hinged lid... the hinged lid on this car was badly damaged and would be of little use to anyone.
That about does her for now. |

I need the trans am style center section with the red reflective band on it. I might be interested in that hood if I am down that way soon though _________________ 2010 Cobalt LT

That's about how my seat belt looks too. I sit on it every time I get into the car. The belt is fine, just need the plastic piece it fits in and that one is broken too.
Sail panel covers and upper seat belt guides at the headliner? I might even be interested in the ones on the headrests if they're still there, I don't care much for my 90-92 style ones. |

I now also have a full set of GFX to go with the maroon bumper. the prior owner dropped it off with the tittle today.
I'll be doing another round of pulling on Sunday, any requests?
PS, is anyone interested in this thing as a roller? |

| Gas tank is yours if you want it. though, if you are going to switch out your tank, I would recommend finding another 91-92 unit with the baffles that prevent fuel starvation under hard cornering. |

I removed the 140MPH speedo yesterday, took it all apart, cleaned it, armoralled the black bezel, and took a buffing wheel to the lens. This unit is now about 85% of brand new. there are still some imperfections in the lens.
I pulled the dashpad, which is also in great shape. there are three imperfections. there is a small crack next to one of the screw holes (that i made while pulling it ), a small crack along the vent (right edge of photo, and the speaker grills have faded.
The AC compressor looks good. there is some mild rust on the pulley.
And here is a photo of the whole car.

That would be me, but I didn't know you had got the car yet. However, after seeing those pop rivets, I think I'm having second thoughts. _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6
