Can anybody with A/C and factory serpentine setup take a photo of the brackets on the compressor? I just got all of the hardware to get my ac going just in time for summer. It's been so long since I had taken mine apart and I didn't get any pictures of the brackets. Thanks. _________________ 2010 Cobalt LT

Which brackets? The main brackets or the bracing on the rear? I left the braces off the compressor and alternator when I installed my headers. My compressor and air pump are off the motor at the moment, but still attached to the bracket, I can take a picture if you need. _________________ 92 Camaro

I have my compressor installed in the aluminum bracket but I haven't been using the ac. I just got the parts to get it going so I was thinking that If I'm actually using it, it may vibrate more. _________________ 2010 Cobalt LT

| That brace secures to an exhaust manifold bolt. With headers, that bolt needs a small piece of pipe/tube as a spacer so the brace can reach the bolt. Depending on thestyle of headers, it may not be possible, won't work on mine. I have no issues with vibration either, it's secured with three bolts to the bracket already. |

Save the added weight and pitch the AC, you live in WA
I have used the block heater on my truck more times this year than I have turned the heater below 70 degrees. Grr, this spring has SUCKED. |

I'll give it a go then without them. Trying to sort out the wiring right now. I can't get it to hold vacuum for more than an hour or so so I need to trace out a leak. I have my suspicions but I spent all day yesterday replacing my oil pan gasket that i damaged trying to do a head/cam change without pulling the pan. This go around I got a 2 peice timing cover although I doubt the cam will ever get changed again. Atleast it seals and I'm no longer spilling oil everywhere. _________________ 2010 Cobalt LT
