It was a Track Day/ Driving school so only passing in the straights. I did get around an old porsche, subaru impreza N/A,and a fox body stang. I ran with an instructor, and he sighned off on my novice road racing license with the ICSCC (Internationa conference of sports car clubs). They run most of the road races in the northwest. I can buy a seat in a racecar, or bring my own and run in the novice class at their races. My 1991 Firebird will remain a street car..... but i have a 86 Trans am 5spd with No motor, that will be turned into an all out road course car, this winter.

That's a cool vid. I took my mom's vette out there a few years ago and it was the most fun I've had on four wheels. I need to get out again!

The school cost $300, i went through a tank of gas by lunch and had to run and fill up. I was almost out of gas again at the end of the day, so gas was about another $100 just out on track, i also drove 300 mi round trip, so gas was big part of my budget. My car has been through AutoX for the last 5yrs so everything that can break pretty much already has been replaced. if you plan on driving a road course make sure your car can pass tech, a couple cars failed and could not run, and a couple were not well prepped, and broke down on track.
