Does it look shorter at the rear bumper?

Rear bumper looks normal to me.

That car would be kinda cool to have just for the novelty factor but I'm sure his reserve is set way higher than it's actually worth... Laughing

might be an optical illusion, but it does have kinda a 280Z look to it. interesting.

I was just noticing it looks like it was shortened somewhere in the middle most noticeably, but also shortened behind the rear wheels at the end of the hatch. That looks like a lot of work. Is a subframe car that's been so heavily modified technically "illegal" to drive on public roads or not?

It was probably two diff wrecked cars that a body guy combined into one shortened camaro. It's "uniqueness" was prob just a result of not enough good sheet metal. There's def a lot of work into it for sure but the question remains... Why? Confused

Somewhere (and I may have lost it) there's a picture of a 4 door 56 Chev that someone cut the frame and body sections out of the rear two doors and basically did the same thing with the IROC here. I know my ex took the picture at a car show we went to back in '07.

Its pretty common in some circles. The Audi guys do that all the time to the original Quattro-Coupe, to make them into short wheel base SportQuattro's that Audi never brought to the US.

I also saw on TV that west coast customs made a 4 door range rover into a 2 door Rover concept car, it was pretty bad ass in the end. If done right some of the shortened cars turn out looking killer.

Here is a page with a quick blurb about the Audi's.

" why do we have back seats" for aesthetics, plain and simple. That thing is ugly.

In some pics the door and rear quarter look shorter (look at the lower rear gfx) and in others it looks like the door is normal and only the rear is shorter. The angle shot looks like a normal 3rdgen. Confused
