PS3. Didn't like it much at first because MW2 was so badass, but it is growing on me. Being able to fully customize all of the weapons as soon as they are unlocked is pretty cool. I don't really like the secondary weapon selection. I liked being able to have a sniper rifle and an assault rifle or sub machinegunin MW2. The nube-tube has been detuned quite a bit which sucks 'cause I used to rely on it quite a bit. The maps are cool, but not quite up to MW2 standards IMO. I have only played a couple levels in the single player campaign, but it is pretty cool so far. The Cold War aspect of the game is interesting as well. There is one scene from the campaign where you are in a briefing with President Kennedy! Thats pretty cool! _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

| I rented it and beat the game, I'm not a big fan of the C.O.D games anymore... I like the new Medal of Honor game allot better. |

Buddy rented it. I played it a little bit. Lousy game. Most of these newer shooters are stupid. They all stem from the same bogus Halo blueprint.
Honestly though, the last shooter I really liked was Borderlands. It was a nice old-school game. |

halo and COD are two totally different games. I really don't see how they all stem from the same bogus blueprint when halo is in an imaginary world on Reach with unrealistic weapons and unrealistic power-ups, while COD is pretty close to actual realistic warfare with real guns and supplies.
thats like saying CODMW2 and forza were made from the same blueprint, the gameplay and strategy is completely different.
I have it for the 360, I think its a good game for what it is, I rarely play video games anymore, my xbox has turned into a netflix receiver. _________________ -Donald

Okay then.
By "bogus blueprint" I mean the type of game with underpowered weapons, overpowered melee, recharging health, and an over-reliance on headshots vs. center body-mass shots.
I played the first Call of Duty game, back when it was PC-only, had healthpacks, and was actually a challenge. I really enjoyed it. When Call of Duty II came out, I played it for about five minutes, put it down, and never played a CoD game again. They aped Halo's health system, and complete lack of challenge.
I've already come to terms with the fact that this is what is considered a modern shooting game. I grew up with the Duke Nukem/Quake/Doom style of shooter, and when I first played Halo it was like some sort of weird abortion of all the good games that had come before it. Unfortunately for nerds like me, this is what the kids want, it's what they stand in line for, and so it's what gets produced. |

Aright, I understand your stand point but I'm in with the "modern" crew so I see different differences.
I wasn't trying to say COD is the best game. I was just saying its good for what it is, its built well from what I've seen.
Now kinect is pretty cool for anything you compare it to! _________________ -Donald

Halo had health packs in the beginning. Personally when halo 3 cme out I loved it. Anymore I can't handle it nor reach.
as far as shooting games go. Ill take borderlands any day over cod. And new vegas or any. I kmow their open world games vs a set path.
I play black ops on the 360. I have a ps3 but I play the 360 more just because I like the controller waaay more _________________
