What domestic muscle does the game offer?
EDIT: OK, I just looked it up online. The Chevys are basically the same ones as GT4. _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

Yeah, pretty much the GT4 stuff, plus the new vettes.
They have some SEMA cars in there, but at least of he ones I have won, they aren't Chevys. |

Ok, so here is the question then. What cars is it missing then? Maybe a 2nd-gen f-body, and some old hot-rods. I am really having a hard time thinking of cars I might actually want to drive in a game like this, that it is really missing out on.
(Not counting Porsche's unwillingness to let them use their cars) |

There's a Datsun 510. That enough for ya?

Ruf Auto has their own VIN numbers, and the German government titles vehicles of their manufacture. |

I HAVE F3. Rarely play it. I was under the impression we were talking about GT5 car lineup. I'll just step out of this conversation... |

John asked what cars GT5 was missing, I listed a few of them for him... straight off the Forza 3 list. |

Oh and 27 different Porsche cars. |
These are the cars of that list in GT5
88 IROC (a thirdgen, OK so it isn't a 90)
69 Camaro SS
69 Camaro Z/28
70 Chevelle SS454
00 and 04 Z06 (not 02, but still C5-zcar)
06 Z06
00 Camaro SS (not the aniv addition, but still LS1 4thgen)
Now, I'll add the OTHER chevies in GT5
Chevrolet Camaro LM Race Car
Chevrolet Camaro SS 10
Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Coupe 97
Chevrolet Corvette C5-R (C5) 00
Chevrolet Corvette Convertible (C1) 54
Chevrolet Corvette Coupe (C2) 63
Chevrolet Corvette GRAND SPORT (C4) 96
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible (C3) 69
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray L46 350 (C3) 69
Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C2) Race Car 63
Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 (C4) 90
Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (C6) 09
Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (C6) RM 09
Chevrolet Silverado SST Concept 02
Chevrolet SSR 03
There is also a 64 and 04 GTO, but I guess GT5 snubbed the firechicken folks, so the game must suck because it doesn't have the smokey and the bandit edition TA.
I agree on the porsche thing though, I miss having them. They do have at least one RUF car again, because I raced against it, but no Porsche name, kind of sucks. |

Hehe... SSR is in there.
You're right, though, GT5 does have a similar list. It just took them twice as long to put out what is at best an on-par game. |

I agree, the delays were a joke, I just find it funny the stuff that people choose to point out as "flaws". It is a good game, and at least with online play, and updates and such, it should be fun to play for a while. To each their own, if you don't like it, no big deal. If you prefer Forza, great. I was just pointing out, that, while it may be missing cars, how many people can sit down, and actually list off cars it is missing (again, porsche not included). Yes, there is no 1948 Merc, but I don't think I would want to drive a lead-sled around the N-Ring anyway.
Travis...PM me your PSN name, we will have to get online and do some racing, when you get started playing.

They both have their pros and cons. Forza with the gt graphics would be awesome. Overall I really like it. Love working at gamestop so I could play before I buy. It is on my xmas wishlist. Only ps3 game I really play anymore besides heavy rain.
If any of you wanna add me on psn my sn is 92_camaro_boss I believe. I have greg I think added but that's it. _________________
