EXCEPT YOUR TRANSMISSION!!! WHAT THE FORK?

Oh noes! This I suspected (and later confirmed) was all that was left of the 2nd gear band. This most likely was lost before the rest of the calamity; possibly before dyno even.

Those pics were from last night. I dinked around all day, and finally got around to tearing her down after dinner tonight.

There is a crapton (technical term ) of grit from the clutches in the pan, and all throughout the trans. I pulled the clutch packs out, but I haven't split them apart yet. I'm sure it will be interesting, but I have no camera here to capture the horror. |

I think you should get back to working on f-bodies Aaron! Feel free to work on my T/A if you are bored with your Camaro. _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

Pfft. Man I already got the BIN file here. You just need to quit dinking around. And don't even get me started on doing the clutch in the RS. |
