				| It's been a while since I've been on here! Hope everyone in the great Northwest is doing pleasant! Been getting settled into my new place and been moving up the foodchain at work. So far all is going smoothly, have some time to myself!
Decided to go a bit further with my build, threw the squeeze on it and am going to go for 11's. It's an addiction, but after 11's it's next to impossible to get these cars going 10's without a turbocharger. I think I will be thoroughly satisfied with 450+ WHP in this car. Should make for a fun ride.

I do need some help though, I have a few questions to some of you nitrous guys. I'm wondering on what plugs worked out best for you? I know alot of the LS guys run the same plugs as us 3800 L67/L32 guys do. I was reading about the NGK BR7EF being a good plug. Also, a good place to get a nitrous bottle re-certified?

Here's a few pics of the install, don't mind the nozzle in the intake, its' clearly a mock up. Going to do an LS1 nitrous plate for a wet setup and do this the correct way. Bottle is unhooked in the trunk for street purposes.

				| Sweet!
I run NGK FR5 I believe. Aren't you already running a cooler plug with the boost? I would continue to get input from others that are running boost and spray. When you start testing it out, start with smaller shot and check plugs for detonation.

I assume you picked up an older bottle if you are asking about certification. Should actually be pretty easy. I got mine done at a fire extinguisher company. They pressure test and certify all sorts of CO2, N2O, etc. etc. Was pretty cheap and they put new stamps on the bottle

How big a shot are you going to use? That is a killer effect cooling the boosted charge
. You probably don't need to worry about extras like auto bottle opener but I would suggest a bottle heater. Just better for consistent pressure. Maybe you have one but didn't see signs of it in the pics.
Pics, video, timeslips... get 'em comin'!

				| Thanks Shultzy!
The plug now is 3 steps colder than stock, but with Ethanol based fuel AND boost AND nitrous I'm just not too sure what to run. I will just have to play with the setup. I have a full standalone scanner that datalogs knock and such so I'm not too worried about grenading the motor, especially with a wideband. I will step up to a 100 shot down the road, supposedly it makes the blower cold to the touch after spraying a large shot for a few seconds

I will check a fire extinguisher place, didn't even think about that!

Also I do have a bottle heater (just not in the picture, wiring isn't even done yet) and no remote bottle opener nor purge valve.

 Thanks for the interest!

				| Looks good, the only thing I might suggest is mounting the nitrous bottle front->back in the car, so that when you accelerate the contents of the bottle remain at the pick-up tube. | |
