night time pics suck for black cars... Surprised

last one shows the sunroof/moonroof/hatch ... whole top of the car is practically glass Shocked

standard equipment on the car:

Standard Features

Comfort and Convenience Features
Air Conditioner
Power Windows (with one-touch up/down on driver & passenger window w/ pinch protection)
Power Door Locks with Remote Entry
Power Outside Mirrors
Panorama Moonroof with Power Slide/Tilt Front Glass Panel and Dual Manual Sunshades
Rear Window Defogger
Digital Clock
Dual Power Points
Outside Temperature Gauge
Tilt-Steering Wheel
Tachometer and Trip Meter
Sport Front Bucket Seats with Fabric Upholstery and Driver's Seat Adjustable Height and Thigh Support
Cruise Control
Cargo Area Storage
Driver's Seat One-Touch Walk-In w/ Track and Seat Angle Memory
Reclining 60/40 Split Folding Rear Seat
Rear Window Shading
Driver and Passenger Sun Visor Mirror w/ Cover
Hard Cargo Cover
Amber Instrument Panel Illumination

Exterior Features
17" Alloy Wheels
Multi-Reflector Auto-off Halogen Headlamps
Side Mirrors with Turn Indicators
Variable Intermittent Front Wipers
Chrome Exhaust Tip

Audio
Pioneer AM/FM/CD Head Unit (MP3 and Satellite controller capable)
Scion Sound Processing
6-Speakers (including 2 tweeters)
Rear Fender-Mount Antenna

Safety Features
Driver and Passenger Front Airbags*
Driver Knee Airbag*
Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS)
Driver and Passenger 3-Point Seat Belts
Anti-Lock 4-Wheel Disc Brakes
Three-Across Rear Head Restraints
3-Across 3-Point Rear Seat Belts
First Aid Kit

some key elements that i really liked about the standard stuff was the fact that there was a knee airbag... the mp3 player obviously, the moonroof/sunroof... i love it...

the front seats both have removable headrests so you can recline the seats ENTIRELY (when they're moved all the way up towards the front) and it creates a seemless area to lay down on from the front seat to the back, and its actually really comfortable... so if my girlfriend kicks me out i can sleep in the car, haha.

not too fond of the amber lighting... but thats easilly swappable... since i like red, i shall be getting red lighting...

so yeah thats a little aboot my toy Surprised

weighs in at just under 3000 pounds, 160hp, 158tq or right around that... it's geared decently, so its got a lot of pick up and go for such a low powered car...

sure beats the shyte out of an RX8 in the power area, and it handles beautifully... responds quicker than an RX8 in the corners and for overall steering in traffic, and the overall standard equipment is better too IMO.

the more torque helps too, I tried to pass people when I testdrove an RX8 on the highway... even downshifting through two gears it didn't work, so that made it an automatic no in my book.

pity the supercharger isnt available for it yet... that'd boost it up to 220hp and around 200tq or there abouts... they've supposedly got a whole kit in the works for the car ... supercharger, intercooler (that is a top mount), exhaust, and hood (which has, from what I've seen from a friend in TRD, a very nicely styled ram-air style hole, but it's actually used for the oddly mounted intercooler)

they've also got some info on the same setup but with a turbo...
Shocked

so that's kind of a hard choice...
expensive choice though hehe...

but the available aftermarket parts for this car is damn amazing... suspension upgrades, tons of wheel/tire packages, ground effects/rear spoiler (both of which look really nice IMO), among other things...

so yeah, I'm a little attached to the car now.

Unfortunately, some arsehole a few nights ago ran a light in an intersection, and I had a choice of a curb, or their truck, so I chose the curb. dinged up my drivers side front wheel, and messed the tire up as well... tire cost me $200 to replace, plus $90 for road hazzard warranty ...

apparently since the tires are bridgestone/firestone... i could have bought the road hazzard warranty after i bought the car, but the dealership failed to tell me that, so I had to get a new tire Sad

nice tires though, reinforced sidewalls with rimguards on them (wider reinforced part of the tire right above the rim) to help protect the wheels if you park and rub a curb or something....

just doesn't save them at about 40mph Sad
