after looking for quite a while, I finally found a replacement spoiler for my convertible, they are quite hard to find in good shape, the one I finally found is coming from australia!!
the wonders of EBAY never stop
everyone cross there fingers for me that this is a good peice after all this hunting
anyways... I figured when I received the spoiler I would probably make a mould of it to have a spare for myself (dont want to have to hunt one down again) and it got me to thinking that there may be others in our little community that have been hunting, If you have been looking for one or know someone who needs one keep me in mind as I should be getting mine soon and will probly make the mould right away so I can get the original mounted on my car finally
thanks guys,

Rich,
Are you doing glass work? I've been looking to doing some work with CF, I may be interested in chatting with you abou the molding process.

Are bird and maro vert spoilers the same? How different are they? _________________

Dewey: yes I do glass work, feel free to ask!
iansane: I'm not sure how different they are, but I think I heard something about some years of bird vert spoilers being the same as the maro ones, I will try to look into it abit more in the next few days.

iansane: it apears 87-92 Camaro and 91-92 Firebirds share the same center spoiler. I would feel more confident with this info if you could send me some pics of yours from the top for me to compare though.
hope this info helps

Oh freaking awesome. I'll take some pictures tommorrow on my way out the door and email them tomorrow sometime. Then I wouldn't be so paranoid about people touching my trunk... _________________

Look alike at all? Need more pictures? I think that's the same brakelight as the standard camaro 3piece spoiler. Speaking of which, where can I get bulbs for that that aren't $10 a piece _________________

send that question on to CanadianCamaro by pm, I beleive he found a nice affordable solution, if you buy the wrong ones, you will melt the lens
a straight down from the top view would help, but so far it looks the same
