1. I have a slow leak from the fuel line back by the tank, where the rubber hose meets the hardline. I have taken it apart a few times and wrapped with teflon tape, still leaking. I'm thinking the o-ring in there is bad or missing Anyone know where I can get a new one, Or the size of it?
2. I aquired a 7" touch screen stereo over the weekend After installing, the cluster is in the way of the screen. Id like it tipped back a bit, I have to have it tilted exactly vertical to barley clear. Any ideas on how to get all that to slide to the right a bit? _________________ 2008 GMC Z71

i got those little o-rings at the local NAPA, they were instock....that was about 4 yrs ago, sorry do not remember the #. these are for the front fuel rail connections
that back connection is oring?? i thought it was swadge lock-i am looking at factory service manual and i dont see orings back there -orings at the front fuel rails
book says "tighten rear fuel feed and return pipe assembly fittings to 20-lb ft," no mention of an oring...just a thought |

Pull off the other end and check for an o-ring. If it has one, you need two.
If it doesn't then you have a crack or burr somewhere, or the rubber line iself is going bad. |

The rubber line is part of the sending unit correct as its crimped on that end. Or am I backwards?
I am sure it is to have an o-ring. If it cools down soon, I'll crack it apart and check again. |

Been a while but I thought I remember the lines coming off the pump/unit assembly.
Anyways, yes you need an O-Ring and they cannont be torn in anyway, and they must be fuel savey o-rings. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

Looked last night. The rubber flex hose is part of the line that runs under the car. The "nut" is part of the fuel assy.
So any parts store should have these o-rings? |

Any parts store will sell you rings in the shape of the letter 'o', yes.
As Paul mentioned, make sure they're good for fuel. |

Finally found a parts store that had these. They only list them for up front on a tpi since they have that short hard section that needs o-rings.
Anyway, took it apart today. Yep, o-ring was completely gone. Installed back. Waiting on delivery of new patio furniture then of for test drive. |
