Thought that since alot of you guys knew my dog Becca that I would post up that we had to have her put down today. She had bone cancer and it was time. Her first Cascade Crew gathering was Elk River in 2002 and she attended many more after that. She was a great buddy.

Very sad day. She was a great dog. I remember her retrieving tree's and boulders at elk river.

I'm sorry for your loss. My golden retriever (my ex-wife's actually) died of breats cancer last year. I didn't even know dogs could get breats cancer. She was almost 10 years old.

Digging through some more pictures, here she is in 08 when we got Holley (the pup). This is when we started calling Holley half-dog and Becca dog and-a-half. Two dogs, but it just wasn't equal. Laughing

At least she had company up to the end, I bet that puppy gave her some happy times. It's always sad to put down a companion like that. We will have to do a cat and dog this year...so I know how you feel, and I'm sorry you had to go through that.
