Also you can see the wheel...I really like it now!

Typical squeeky clutch pedal...does anyone know where the zert fitting lives!

Looks good, won't be able to listen until i get home. Your garage looks WAY clean compared to mine right now. You have carpet for your Shark?

No Zerk. Just spray some wd40 up where you hear the squeek and hope for the best. Otherwise it's a big PITA to pull the bolt out and lube the bushing.

Thanks so much guys...I really appreciate the kudos! Very Happy
Now if I had a bit more weather to rip in...way good!

Yea Schultzy it's carpet...squares with industrial non-slip backing,
I didn't get them...I actually came back from the Silver Falls run and the wife had got them for me!
Although I am quiet sure somewhere in the future...there will be a ploy on those...LOL...
Thanks again fellow crewbies!

Oh and thanks Paul...I will attack it with the WD40!
Is that something you can do an improvement mod??
After watching the vid a few times...3rd gen doors are a beast!
I never knew just how my big-ol-butt rocked that car Laughing

I've used motorcycle chain lube in the past for bushings like that. Seems to stick around longer than the WD. S10's have zircs tho... so Razz

Good call. Some spray graphite would work better too.

But everyone one has WD40 laying around lol.

Tru, dat.

BTW, finally got on a PC with sound and watched the clip. Sounds excellent, Rich. Good Magna sound, not resonating. Thumbs up

You need lowering springs though, dude. Your car drops way to much when you get in it, and you're not that big of a guy.

Thanks for the positive comments...much appreciated!
Yes the suspension is next...I have been getting input, checking out everyones rides, the springs are the original from 83, and I have some KYB's from 94 or so...yea I weigh 240 dude...poor ride!
Here is what I am looking at, and keep in mind I am a cruise & show driver, although a good corner rip is always choice!
Springs: EIbach springs (sportsman?)
Shocks: Tossed between the NEW KYB & the Koni
SFC's
Sway bars...this is an interesting topic, opinions really vary on diameter.
Poly Bushings
I think that will make life pretty good!
Looking for input as well!

On my IROC I had:

Eibach ProKit,
KYB GR2's out front,
Blistien HD's in back
IROC sway bars (IIRC they're a little smaller than WS6 bars)
Wonderbar

If you lower it you're going to have to mess with the panhard, and possibly the LCA brackets. Rear end geometry gets thrown off, and you end up with crazy wheel hop and 3 sec 60ft. times. Rolling Eyes

Aside from that it was a point-and-shoot car.

Hey thanks Aaron! I am still knocking all of it around, the Pro-kit and Sport line seem to be fav's and split between the crew. Last night I was getting pros and cons on boht....talk about going ahhhhhhh, yea that would be me!
I wasn't really thinking much on lowering, due to the issues that you had mentioned. Also Alloy hooked me up with a bushing...Name?? have it in an email!
But I am for sure going to make some choices shortly!
Cheers and have a great holiday!

That has a very nice tone! I like. Had my subwoofer shaking the computer desk. But Schultz and I are going to have to train you about revving it up cold... This is supposed to happen at 3am and you're supposed to at least hit 6k rpm!! LOL
