Well, let's just say that Bart spanked dewey...
My car did 159 peak hp on run 2 and 269 peak tq on run 1. From what I heard Schulzty had issues getting a full power pass off but he is over the 300 mark on both.
Barnes put up a paultry 110 hp with his awesome, the shiznet, gotta be the best nobody better 4.3 V-6.
I did hear Jill won the girl wars beating me by 30 hp though. Next year women, next year....... Rheann didn't have what it takes to try. |

Well I managed to peg 146 hp with 233 torque, not through the roof but still respectable for a 305 TBI |

Maybe next year we can hold it in March or April so that the weather is a little warmer and some of us high elevation people can actually attend with our cars and not worry about getting home. |

No numbers for me. I had to work in the morning, and didn't get there until they were just pulling out towards the freeway.
I am also eager to hear how everyone else did. Post! post! post! |

THAT was cool too. Congrats on the good work that thing is sweet.
I only put down 311 / 308. There are issues (hence no n2o runs) but it all just sounds like excuses so back to the tuning...
BTW Kelly... wha happened?

Truck put down 194hp@4400 and 308ft/lbs @ 2100 . SAE #s. Also made quite the smoke show. Guess I need to blow the carbon out more often! Pretty dissapointing for me actually. Car put down 227hp last year, but the truck has more cubes, better heads, bigger cam, long tube headers, dual exhuast etc.. Plus i've had both motors in the truck before and this one definately feels stronger. Figured I'd have 250hp at least.. guess not! |

in fact noone except for dewey, knew i was bringing it,unless of course he mentioned it. and btw,it was 116 hp |

Yay... I think the main reason Barnes dyno'd was to get a baseline and to help out with getting the magic number to 15. Talk to him privately on the board or IM programs.. I dunno how many times I've said this.
Reann (the kind without the "h" ) didn't dyno her stock L98 because she didn't have the money.. what with her being 16, making a car payment and insurance, plus the gas to do the 500 mile round trip she couldn't afford it. Next time she won't be stock, and she will dyno.
The board and gathering were amazingly mellow and have been a great atmosphere.. lets keep it that way by not stirring the pot please.

Hey Rod... we can talk about changing it. Cows III will be a good time to finalize for next year - plenty of time to plan. Certainly would like as many as possible to participate. January has just been traditional. Kinda funny that it has consistently been one of the larger gatherings even though it is in the middle of winter. This was the third annual. First one was my first gathering - weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Not sure if we got a final count... think we might have beat the first year in terms of Crew cars there.

The Z managed to put down 187.5 hp @ 4450 and 247.5 ft/lbs @ 2200 SAE #s and Air fuel ratio of 12.8 to one. After 5800 RPM the read out started spiking realy bad and the HP #s started to drop in to the crapper. So i guess the next project is to install the 22lb injectors i've been sitting on and get it over with _________________ If ya can't fixit F#ck IT!!!!!!.........

Horsepower was 194.5
Torque was 245.8
Both of these were on my third run.
I was a little disappointed in my trucks performance and as a few people pointed out it sounded like it was running a little "off" and it had a hard time pulling to 5000 rpms. So when I got home I did a little check-up and pulled the plugs. All plugs looked good except one. It was fouled and the gap was way to wide. I replaced it and set the right gap, now my truck runs much better. Not making excuses as I had a blast and would do it again in a heartbeat. Wow! I knew she was pretty strong, but those are good solid numbers! Be interesting to see what happens as you start upgrades on her!
