I have a set of AFR 195 cc Elimator heads on the bench for my 87 IROC. While I have the intake off, I would like to change the cam also.
See below for the engine and acessories.

ZZ4 350 short block ( 10,000 miles on it), SLP T-Ram intake ( +/- 11" runners), C4 24 lb injectors or 2002 LS1 injectors ( have a set of each), SLP 1 3/4" headers and single 3" cat back, Random tech cat, 700 R4 with 2600 stall convertor, stock 3.42 geared rear end, car weights around 3500 pounds, MSD Pro Billet distributor, MSD 6AL box, MSD coil, stock computer running an ED wright chip. The compression ratio will be around 9.85 to 1 with the new heads installed.

Currently there are a set of old school Trick Flow heads on the engine, compression ratio is around 9.2 to 1.
I know the AFR's would love a mini ram, but I would like to stick with the T-Ram. I would like to keep the RPM's under 6500.

Any suggestions?

I'm not the biggest techie on this, but I think with your setup would maximize the power out of this cam:

That cam's pretty small.

Is this a roller zz4? or Flat Tappet?

Do you want hydraulic or solid?

Hydraulic roller. The AFR springs are good for .600 lift.
Would like to keep the RPM's under 6,500 due to the stock ZZ4 bottom end.

Hot cam is 218/228. I believe on a 112 LSA. Lift is .525 w/1.6 ratio rockers.

What are you wanting to achieve with it Dave? What kind of power, what kind of usage, what do you want/not want in your cam?
