Or as I like to call it, "Schultzy Red" Very Happy

As you see, been doing some cleaning and painting. Anything that comes off the car gets cleaned up before put back. Here's some more progress pics.

Stock length springs are a huge freaking bugger to get compressed back into the front end on these things. I had a home made spring compressor, a come-a-long, 2 floorjacks, and some pry bars to get this one in.

As would figure, when I put my 87 together the only color poly bushings that were available were red or black. So black it was. Well, this time I order a poly end link kit from napa.. and the stuff comes and its BLUE!

Should have cut the springs down. Would have made it better all around!

I can't wait to see that thing going though. Especialy if you ever build a crazy 455 for it.

Cutting would never clear any tires I have for it. Someday when theres more budget I'll get springs that arent 35 yeras old.

Went to install the sway bar today. Open bushing box.. hmm. these don't look right. Try on the bar.. fits like a wizards sleeve.. damn! I even looked these up myself. Come in go to napaonline, correct #, picture shows what I wanted, but these definatly aint them. Got a misboxed part. Thats like the 3d one this week.

Well I got all the suspension on, the tie rod assembly, brake rotors, and calipers today. I had to take the pass side suspension back down because the spring wasnt in the upper pocket. Very hard to tell. 4ft crow bar, home made spring compressor and a jack did the job. Though the 3/8x2" flat bar I used for the spring compressor now has a nice bend in it! Laughing Got a few things to take apart yet, then I'll be putting body components back together.

Was reading a pontiac board and a guy had the flexible tube that goes from the air cleaner to the fender for the cold air induction for sale. I guess they made 2 and one is "fuzzy". It's a 73-4 piece only. Starting bid for the piece is $300. Shocked Of course I had to run out and look to see if I had it! Laughing No such luck. Goes to show you though, you never know what is valuable. So watch what you trash.
