Well, first of all, my Subaru Legacy rolled over a quarter of a million miles over the weekend! That's right, 250k miles. 1.32 billion feet of road, snow, dirt, and gravel have passed under this car in 13 years. And it still has factory paint on it. Wink

All the pictures are cell phone camera pictures, sadly. My camera is MIA as of last month.
You can click to see the full size version.

The fun stuff, though, has been my project to convert the Camaro to fuel injection. The condensed version is that I have taken two F-bodies completely apart, and will be putting them both back together a little differently than the factory intended.

Incidentally, two thirdgens scattered over a two-car garage is quite the mess. Laughing

This car:

And this car:

Are both completely disassembled as of yesterday. The reassembly starts today. Very Happy

Here's a preliminary engine assembled shot, just to see what it all looks like:

I'm putting the tank, fuel lines, swaybars and other misc. stuff from the Trans Am on my Z28. The motor is a 4-bolt 350, with worked GM iron heads topped off with Ian's old Holley Stealth Ram. Walbro, Ford Racing, and Holley provide the fuel. The whole shebang is controlled by a homebuilt Megasquirt-2 ECU and an Innovate LC-1 Wideband. Exhaust will run out through Hedman longtube headers with true dual exhaust through chambered mufflers.

The power is going to the ground through a very scared T5 Shocked, which will have the torque arm relocated to the crossmember. The rear end from a '99 Camaro SS with the Torsen posi will put that on the ground and ensure optimal and impressive rubber-shredding. Burnout

I'm in love with my Camaro all over again. Lovey lovey
I can't wait to get this project running. It's gonna be loads of fun to tune it and drive it and build it.

Seems like I'm never really happy unless I'm working on something like this.

I'm addicted to speed. Get down and Boogie!

Gabe, you may very well have saved it's little life. Laughing
