Unemployment sucks, I've got too many half-finished projects around, and the IROC, unfortunately, needs to go.
It is an '87 IROC-Z, original L98 car. Bottom end is stock. The only thing that's been done to the engine is a mild port job on the upper TPI, and LT1 24# injectors. It has full exhaust, and the usual bolt on stuff and free mods. It put down 240hp/320tq at the '09 dyno.
The cruise, AC, smog, evap system, front sway bar and foglights have all been deleted. It has Autometer gauges in a custom cluster. C&C t-tops, not GM ones, so less leaks, but more expensive to replace. It has the fairly rare 3.73 Borg Warner 9-bolt with a good working posi and rear disks, they aren't PBR disks though, just old-school GM ones. It has fairly new Kumho tires, KYB front struts, and Eibach ProKit springs all around, which give it a really nice stance.
The only thing really wrong with it right now is the T-56. There is no reverse at all, it pops out of third on occasion, and grinds fourth. My plan was to drop and sell the T-56, downgrade to a T-5, then buy an adapter plate and run an LS1-style T-56 down the road when I got a little more $$$.
Asking $3000 as it sits, or $2500 and I keep the Autometer gauges and stereo system, or shoot me your best offer. |

Dang Aaron. That sucks. Too bad about the job. I always have liked your IROC. I hope things can work out and you get to keep it.
Good luck man. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56
