No offense taken. You're just trying to save me some money, and I thank you for that.
I'm not expecting big gains, I did research on the 2.8/3.1. CAI, headers, nice flowing cat-back, cam, 1.52/1.6 rockers, and a custom tune wake up the car very nicely. Pricey, I know, but to have a quick 2.8/3.1, and making it quick, makes you feel good.
If I decide otherwise, I'm going to do the 3x00 top end swap. Which I might just do anyways. I don't know, I've got three different ways I want to go. Just right now I'm comparing prices. _________________

| I had a 3.4, t5, 2.73 gears, 1.52's, cam, mild port, headers, catback. Stock tune. It ran fairly nice. But the biggest problem in the exaust is the y-pipe. Just a y-pipe and catback does wonders. |

How about some S10 headers that will fit?
Any other parts people have that they don't want? _________________

| Someone on TGO had bought some s10 headers. One side they were able to heat up and bend into place. The other side they had to butcher and weld to make fit. |

Yeah, I've been messaging him about it, Hedman Hedders, only $167 on summit. The only problem, I don't want to buy them and end up screwing it up, voiding warranty. Anyone on here confident enough to help if I end up buying these?
Or does someone have a V8 bellhousing for the T5 transmission for cheap? _________________

I will have all v8/t5 swap parts here in a few months. Going back to auto
Also on the s10 headers. You still have to have a y-pipe made. It would be cheaper to just get the ones made for your specific car. |

He doesn't have a y-pipe for his, just attached two glasspacks to the collectors.
How much would you be selling the bell housing for? _________________

Its still in the car, and gonna be about the end of summer when I'm done with it. I'm guessing you want something before then correct?
If so, try car-parts.com and search for it.
As for the y-pipe. What I'm saying is having a y-pipe made is not cheap. The pacesetters come with a y-pipe.
So.
s10 ones, cut hacked, y-pipe made will likely equal the price of the correct bolt in pacesetters with y-pipe. |

Oh, I won't have the V8 in before then, I can wait until you get the parts out. Unless I come by some cheap parts for the swap, I'm not doing it any time soon. _________________

Thank you! How did your T5 hold up to the 350? _________________

My transmission is pretty good, reverse is ok, but other than that, it works perfectly with new fluid and clutch kit. Should hold up to the normal abuse a 350 can give (I drive fairly easy, no real stomping it, only here and there). Been running a 1/4 tank of gas for about a week now, lots of nuetral driving. From Arlington - Shoreline and back, Arlington-Smokey Point and back, and 6 mile drive to town (have to take detour) and back three times. All under a 1/4 tank of gas.
Anywho, I'm rambling about nonsense. If anyone else has parts to do a V8 swap, let me know, please! I can pay cash, but donations would be preferred! _________________
