Yet another thread about my HSR parts I will need...
Does anyone have a complete/mostly unhacked/heavily modified(duct tape anyone?) Speed Density TPI engine wiring harness?
I'm going to go with an aftermarket ECU, but I figure buying a TPI harness is a good move since I'm using all stock GM sensors. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

What ECU?
Didn't I hear once you were going Megasquirt? (Cringe)
If you're gonna Holley, it's not that much for the TPI harness for it. Plug and play no worries. I even made my own harness for the Chevette and the Commander. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

Probably the Megasquirt2 ECU, mostly because I would like to learn. About how much does the Holley system cost? If it's not too much, I suppose I could consider it.
I know you're not a fan of Megasquirt, but I also know some people who love it and I have a friend who owns a performance shop that specializes in Megasquirt tuning in Olympia. He's done several 1000hp drag cars on Megasquirt, usually with tons of boost.
What it really comes down to is I've had more experience and more friends using Megasquirt2 than anything else, and I think it can be competitive if not better than any others at a fraction of the cost.
I also use Linux on a lot of my computers, and I kind of think of MS2 as being the linux of ECUs. I like doing a little under-the-hood work in order to understand more about the system I'm using. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

If you have the resources for megasquirt by all means go for it.
Personally, I don't, and the learning curve after learning several GM systems, holley, and fast.... is way too step and just unfun.
