I'm going down to Las Cruces tomorrow for a job interview (!) and I really want this job! It's a very, VERY, VERY good one! I can't really get into it, but it does involve R&D and some really state of the art stuff!
It will also enable me to get the master's that I've been wanting to qualify for many years to get. Yes, even before I finished my bachelor's!
Anyway, this is an important interview and I hope you guys will send some positive vibes my way!
Thanks!

Best of luck Paul...
Although high-tech R&D in las Cruces, If you are working on Nano-Tech, I read that book, DON"T DO IT. |

Best of luck Paul. I worked for FCDNA for two years in Albuquerque... nice country down there.

(Uh, Unca Schultzy wouldn't happen to still have buddies there, would he?)
I tried at first to get a Manuf. Eng. job with one of our sister companies down in ABQ, but I guess I didn't have enough qualifications.
I love that city, I would move there in a heartbeat if I could get a job there!
I think Las Cruces will be fun though, only about 45 min. from my dad's place (which is the main motivation for looking down there at first), home of NMSU, rated #1 in medium city size, pay is good, and cost of living is about 1/3 less than what it is here!
Also, it is the home of Klipsch (Dr. Klipsch founded the School of Engineering at NMSU), so after I get down there, you'd better get your orders in!! (Awesome home speakers!)
Thanks for the well-wishes guys, means a lot! I will keep you posted!

Awww, John!! Those are the ones I'm planning to USE as my rear speakers!!
(Look up the Klipschorn, La Scala, or Bella) for the ones I want for the fronts!)
Of course, ~ $2500 each does tend to put a damper on things!
Let me get the job first, then we can talk about it!

| How big of a room do you plan on. Each of those towers packs a Powered Sub Inside, I rarely even start to turn the volume up. While not quite a Klispchorn, For any normal sized room, it is more than enough speaker. |

Well, I think the interview went well, seemed very positive! Place seems a little out of the ordinary, basically a few trailers on the edge of the base. But they asked many pointed questions about my EW background and my studies for my degree, and were (seemed) impressed by my knowledge.
They did say they wanted to interview a couple more people then make a decision. I should know within the next couple of weeks or so...
:fingerscrossed:
Thanks for the vibes folks, I swear I heard mumbling in the background (Dewey, was that you?)
