holly crap, that is amazing,
i would love to have a brand new third gen, but i do not think i could ever get myself to drive it on the road!
why would someone get a car from the factory and then dump it in a trailer? _________________ -Donald

Old owner of Hiatt Pontiac GMC did that with a few cars; syclones, TAs and some others. Crazy. I'd never have that self control. _________________

| Interesting. CarFax shows 1G1FP87HXFL151528 as a legit VIN with no records. Weird that there's no switch for the fog lights though. |

Well, I can say that one has less miles then the one I inspected a year or so ago.
It was still under the "milage" warranty, but not year warranty.
Why do people do this? To have a rare car worth something to someone later in life. I heard about some guy who started back in the late 70's buying all the muscle cars he could get ahold of (vettes, camaros, cudas) as well as parts. Stuffed them in old semi trailers and parcked them back to back. I think about a year ago he died and they had an auction. Stuff pulled some major change. _________________ 2008 GMC Z71

Not really. If he would have put that money into a decent mutual fund in the early 70's, he would have been sitting on a pile of cash right now. (Well not right now, but least summer yeah ) |

| Very few cars in history can actually be considered a good financial investment. An '85 Camaro will not be one of them. |

There is a guy in CA or NV (sorry I forget) who is both restoring and building new ones. I believe you can actually upgrade the engine trans combo to have something worth having...maybe I'll see if I can find some info on it....
found it--funny enough it was under:
