I don't know how the rest of the local market is doing but I got caught in a large layoff here at work, Heath Tecna. About a third of our engineering group. Sucks that I live so far north but if anyone in the everette area knows of anything open I'd like to know. I'm an Electrical Engineer doing system design and reports. I know a few engineers from FSI, BEAerospace, Boeing, and a few others. So just keep me in mind if you can.
Till something pops up I'll be brewing beer and getting my car done. As long as unemployment pays good enough. _________________ E30

i'm sorry to hear that Travis. I have a feeling that this type of thing is going to be all to common over the next few months.
BTW, If you would like, PM me your address. I would like to send you a small care package, that you might put up on BrewMunkey. Call it, me buying you a beer, from Portland.

Hey Travis, sorry to hear of your layoff, it seems to be flowing through out the country. I have some contacts up your way, i'll put the word out and see if anything is cooking. Hang in there, things always get better! _________________

Ya, I'll be okay for sure. I have lots of things I can do to make side money. Plus I'm young'ish and smart with reasonable experience. Any lead would be awesome and well appreciated though. I have a wedding planned for next summer!
You send me a beer and i'll send one back! Maybe I'll finally get around to sending out samplers since I'll have all this free time. |

Shoot me your e-mail and I'll look through our job postings at Panasonic and send them to you. Some of the qualifications on the engineering/support side look to be what you're looking for. Most of the engineering positions though are in Lake Forest, CA, but there are a couple in the Bothell/Everett area. If you get hired from my referral, it means $$$ for me _________________ 92 Camaro

CAT just had another record quarter.... just like every quarter for the last several years. Look over the jobs at www.cat.com. You'll have to move to the midwest but life at CAT is very very good. This is a $40 billion company with tons of engineering opportunities. Working at CAT is a good investment in your future.
