Welcome to the Crew!
More firebirds - yay. Post up and tell us a bit about yourself. Don't be shy with this band of misfits.

Thanks so much for the welcome! I truly enjoy checking out all of the crew and the rides. I thought i may be a rare one with a TA, but low and behold there are lots of you guys...way good...I have been searching for a club for some time, and saw Dewy's link on 3rd gen, and he was kind enough to hook me up...thanks Dewy! Well i have had my TA since 83, i actually had it custom ordered and shipped in, i couldn't find a TA with all of the options i was looking for. The car is under a cover in my garage, and i only drive it during the summer, once the fine northwest crud hits, back to the garage. Most of the mods i have done were some years back. Between home, kids and coaching their teams the car went on the back burner, but now they're in college, i get to be busy finalizing some other mods. I am a VP for a national uniform company, we specialize in all sorts of wearables, I also have a full blown produciton facility for embroidery, screen printing etc...I do distribution for flex-fit hats, dickies, hanes, jerseys and many other major brands. Marketing and sales are my specialties, as well as trade shows and organizing, I've been in the industry 23 years and still dig it! Well hoepfully you didn't nod out reading this, and thanks again for the welcome! I look forward to chatting and meeting you folks at upcoming events _________________

Welcome! And might I add, those pictures you posted are AWESOME. Do you have a bigger one of your avitar? The look oldschool (absolutely no offense intended if they are new).

How did you take the pictures? That car looks emaculate, how many miles? _________________ E30

Believe it or not, the car does still look just like that! i took a couple of the pics about 2 years ago, the one with the ladies was like...oh 20 some years ago! so yea that one is a bit old school, but i have to say both ladies are still hot! I'm married to 1 and my buddy to the other. That car was a major eye baller in it's day, lots of great memories! Anyhow thanks for the compliments and no offense taken on the old school...LOL! I guess i kind of dated myself with that pic! I paid $10,200.00 for the car brand new in 1983. _________________

Didn't nod off at all, thanks for sharing. There are a few of us here old enough to have kids in college
I may be interested in a separate conversation regarding club shirts and/or jackets. We have tossed the idea around for a few years but never really moved on it. Sounds like this may be right up your alley.

Wow i had no idea how many folks like the TA, the first TA i rode in was a 74 (i believe) in 1976 with a 455-quadrajet and hurst 4-speed, that car was so powerful and fast! i had to have one, but at that point they were a rare find, and i was more of a fan of the 3rd gen body style that was starting to show in car and driver. I have purposely left those wheels, i ordered the car with that style (vector fin?!) i'll have to drag out the order sheet...yea i still have that too! The silver was the new color back then, red was popular and so was black both were sharp, and no way would i buy white...the silver and black was an eye catcher, so i went that route, i have had several offers but no way can i part with the car, the last of my bachelor days way back when..... LOL.....The red and black TA's had the gold wheels, they were sweet, but not on the silver...talk about bad bling...uuhhh _________________
