So I'm getting some paintwork done (more on that in another post) and I'm curious to hear from everyone that's seen my car. The fender hash marks were done in black because really that's all I had in vinyl. But now it's growing on me. I had wondered what a charcoal matching the wheels would've looked like but didn't find that anywhere. Now that I'm getting those hash marks actually painted on, what color should I paint them? Black to match the interior(eventually!), wheel emblems, lugnuts, etc or charcoal to match the wheels themselves?

I will admit that the black has grown on me, especially seeing it in person. I say stick with it. Thumbs up

I love the black, but please....do the other fender too. I just can't be ok with one side only.

I think that kind of defeats the purpose of the corvette GS homage though?

If you're sticking with them, keep em black. Don't think any other color will pop like black.

Interior, interior, interior....hmmm

Is it wrong to vote in your own poll? Laughing

I'm fairly certain I'm going to keep black but can anyone maybe 'shop the strips to match the wheels? I don't have p'shop anymore or I'd attempt it myself...

I didn't chime in but I had voted black. They are an accent. The strong contrast and asymmetric nature add a lot of interest IMHO. Add the fact that it is vette homage with the vette wheels and brakes makes a nice tie in.

I wasn't sure I cared for it when you first did it, but I certainly do now.

It will look good regardless but you were looking for opinions so, ya.

Cool
