Not just you. I've been asked a few times over the last couple of years. One guy followed me into the Kitsap Mall parking lot and offered me $3000 cash, had to refuse because the stereo was worth more than that
I have 2 in the driveway, and I'm always working on one or the other. One of the neighbor kids asked if I was interested in selling one (the red one), I think he wanted it for parts since there is what I think is a Sport Coupe sitting under the trees over there. I had to refuse that too since I didn't want to see my car go as a parts car. _________________ 92 Camaro

I get notes fairly regularly now that it's all one color. _________________

Nobody ask me if I want to sell. My friend has a 91 t-top black. He has had a few offers and he is wanting to sell as well. But nobody seems to come up with cash. _________________ 2008 GMC Z71

Exactly.
The entire car market has taken a huge dive, it takes us twice as long to sell a Corolla, I could only imagine what it would take to sell a third gen. People are buying, but only when they are stealing. _________________

I really see that the market is flooded with cars. And since the 90's rolled around the quality has gone way up. Back in the day when you were lucky to get 100k on a car no problem. New cars for everyone after 10 years. Now we've got 10 year old 200k mile cars that are just broken in! Just the way the world works. I'm cool with picking up free camaro chassis's. |

Impractical cars with terrible gas mileage tend to lose a little of their value when the entire economy goes down the crapper.
I work across the street from a classic car dealership, and I know they're hurting, and so are the long line of people looking to sell their projects. |
