Well, I figure with gas so high and the fact that they have such a great power to weight ratio: As long as it has a good six speed it will still be fun, and saving some gas is always a bonus!
So here's a pic of my new ride.
Its a used 04, still under waranty. Its a total blast. _________________ '88 Formula

considering all 5 600cc sportbikes were withing a couple 10ths at the track, and all solidly in the 10's, any specs would come down entirly to the rider. But knowing jess, he will know everyone of them for you. |

looks good Jess, I have never been a huge fan of only having two wheels on the road though, less margin for error.
I can see the attraction though |

Ok... Lets send little old Eric out on a 1200cc sport bike. I would have a blast learning on that. I am getting a 600cc decade old bike that has been dropped in the garage or dumped at low speed or something. I will get a nice 1200cc bike when I have a year or so of experience
And umm Schultzy, why is it under your legs? Are you sitting on it? Because that is just wrong _________________

Expect to get lots of tickets. Expect for cars not to see you. And always expect the unexpected.
Flashback 1985:
A drunk 4 times legal limit rear ended me in my Nighthawk 700 at 60mph, I was slowing to a stop sign. without any gross details Im lucky to be alive plus still having my left leg. (Tip..always know who is behind you as well as in front)
PS: Expect to be the chick magnet :p

That will be a pleasant bonus with the bike

15.5 Yes rubber side down is definetly the plan.
It also only weights 419 lbs wet w/ a 6 speed. Sport Rider magazine ran a 10.68 @ 128 and some change with their test bike. _________________ '88 Formula
