Wow, just wow....wow. Its a good thing, our N/A motors work OK, when they start spinning backwards, to go in reverse.
I love the fact that he is going race his buddy with a corvette, in reverse. classic.
I feel like I lost a few IQ points reading that, but it was funny.

Wierd because I was just reading an article about an old prototype car (I think it was European) that had no reverse gear, but could be cranked and started in reverse thus giving you four backwards gears. Hard to imagine parallel parking it though. |

that is funny, I can't believe how one question warranted 20 pages of responses! some people just love to put down others to make themselves feel better i guess.

Wow. I normally try to come up with some witty response to that, but wow, I am at a loss for words for that guy. ok so that thread was obviously a joke but on the last page a guy gets his knickers in a bunch and says that his cobalt is running 14s stock and he doesn't know of any mustang that can run with him bone stock.
I saw a new mustang GT the other day the old guy driving it, 77 yrs old, says he got the optional chip to make 415 hp. So either he was pulling my leg or that is one stang that will tear up that little cobalt lol. So to me the real comedy is the way one or two of the members there are so enamored with their cars that they think nothing can touch 'em.
I know we are all passionate about our cars but jeeze I wouldn't challenge a Lamborghini, and if I drove a cobalt I wouldn't pick a fight with a 08 mustang gt. |

First-gen GT's, any old Mach 1, 1996 SVT Cobra, GT-R, Fifth-gen GT, GT500, the list goes on. Cobalts are just another Domestic econo-box. |

The new '08 turbo ones have ~276hp. 14's should be simple for that. Don't know what kind that guy had though. |

| Yeah, he might have been talking about an SS. They would be in the mid 14's. Not the normal Cobalt though. |

Wasn't questioning whether or not he can run in the 14s. if he says he can then so be it. I've never driven one. I was saying that he is running in the 14 second range and he can't think of a mustang that can run with him. thats funny. cause there are a bunch of 'em that can. |
