A guy I work with popped my VIN into the EPC and it happen to show up with my build date. He noticed it was this friday. What should I get my car for it's birthday? I plan to wash it, vacuum it and maybe roll the fender lips.

Is this why both your camaros barely crack 200hp? Shocked Very Happy

I was going to wash and wax it today but the weather sucks. So I installed the new Kirban regulator and rolled the fender lips so I don't always hear rubber inside my wells.

I can. I can pull up a VIN and tell you all the options that car came with and I can even do searches for all warranty work, or really any work done at a GM dealership as well as look up key codes and cut keys off the VIN. It's actually really cool stuff. It'll filter out any parts that didn't come on the car. New cars I can tell where they were originally shipped to, who if anyone ordered them, and tons of other stuff.

But GM didn't start keeping track of that until mid year 89. So it's really only 90+.

I called ford the other day and they didn't start that until 2000! Crazy.

Hey Ian, can you reprint build sheets, or an RPO list. I don't have either for my car. (granted, my car will probably never be a stock car again....)

Yup! Actually, I do that over the net. I can try doing it from home. Laughing

PM me your VIN and I'll look it up.

Seriously doubt it. I just found out the net based one only does warranty stuff so I'll have to check VINs and RPOs at work tommorrow. You can shoot me your VIN in a PM and I can try it but I doubt it'd work.

I love to bust chops. Whomever it may be and whatever they're driving. Smile

Today I rotated all my tires. Took awhile to break down and rebalance them all but it was slow enough at work that I didn't have to hop behind the counter too many times. Laughing

And of course a gratutious shot of the brakes.

Did you roll your fenders yet? I'm curious to see how it looks and what you did to do it. I might have to roll mine.

Yeah. Well, I slotted and bent the inner sheet metal upwards. Nothing really changed from the outside appearance-wise.

Did you slot the rear? I can see how that would be necessary. Is it possible to keep the front fender liner when you roll it? The only reason i ask is I'm doing the LS1 front conversion and they say you might have to space out the GTA crosslaces cause the caliper hits the wheels face.

I haven't touched the front yet. I'm switching to different spacers (2"-->2.25") and will mess with the fronts then. But yeah, slotted the rears every 3" or so and they bent up quite nicely. I did chip the paint in a couple spots though.
