so if i were to change the gears in my car, will that eliminate my posi?
i dont really know how that works...

If you change the whole carrier it will.

If you just change the ring and pinion, the gears will go on the carrier you have.



this is a ford Carrier, but this is basically what it looks like.

It depends on what gears you currenlty have, and what gears you are switching too.

But generaly, yes you can swap gears and you will keep your posi.
