so i did a tune up on my car today (ngk plugs, msd cap, rotor, and wires) just because i have no idea when the previous owner did the last one. he also had mis matched plug wires on there too which i thought was the reason for the slight stutter it has under acceleration.
well when i pulled out the spark plugs, the first three were ngk's the 7th cylinder plug was an acdelco that looked super worn out, and the other four on the passenger side were autolites. i was amazed and confused at why there were three different brands and qualities of plugs in there.
never the less, with the new stuff i put on today, it really made the motor feel more crisp and responsive. totally worth the effort.
also, on the fuel pressure regulator, does it have a small bolt and nut comming out of the top of it? or does that mean it is adjustable?
if so i totally have an AFPR _________________ gas brake dip dip |

Don't monkey with the afpr on a computer controlled vehicle. You'll mess up all sorts of stuff. Just make sure the fuel pressure is within stock limits.
lol, when I replaced the plugs on my newly acquired nissan sentra, the plugs were worn down to a spark gap of 0.075"!!!!! You gotta love previous owners.... Good to hear yours responded well to the attention. _________________ E30

| Yeah, screw = adjustable. You can make minor adjustments to it without doing anything to the chip, but unless you have a fuel pressure gauge you're really flying blind. |

I'm with Travis.
An AFPR is just a bandaid. Say you're lean when your WOT. So you increase your fuel pressure to compensate. Now your idle and cruise go to crap and your milage goes down. |

Sad day for me when I did the tune up on my motorcycle. Put new oil in there, starter could no longer turn over the engine.
FTW?!
$400 for a new one
Found a place in Tacoma that is re-building mine for "Only" $200 |

| The TPI setup I bought for mine had one. I ended up taking the AFPR off it and put a shimmed fixed one in its place. IMO, once its set, you shouldnt have to adjust it anymore. |
